| Our mission at Tipton-Haynes Historic Site in Johnson City,
Tennessee is technical anachronism. The unmarked/no-name mill is mounted in 2 layers of 2" thick white oak. The bearings are razor sharp where they were once half an inch thick and the rollers have an hourglass profile so we have to feed top and bottom to get a good squeeze, 3 stalks max at a time but with only .05 acres this is no problem.
