The completed burner is then attached to the mounting plate using the mounting brackets and bolts. Then the turnbuckle is attached near the intake end of the burner.

The flexible gas line is attached to the control valve.

Lighting instructions: Be sure the gas valve is completely closed and that there is no propane in the furnace!!!!!!!

Be sure the bottom of the pan is covered with juice or water.

The burner is lit by using a small rag twisted onto the end of a piece of wire. The rag is damped with charcoal lighter fluid and ignited. This is inserted through the end of the burner to beneath the jets. Then the propane is turned on very slowly. The gas flow is gradually increased over a time span of thirty minutes. This gives time for the furnace to expand.

I use a 1000 gallon propane tank which is filled to fifty percent. This provides enough vapors to prevent the regulator from freezing.
