The baffle to control the airflow is made from the aluminum. The hole in the center is slightly larger than the OD of the 3/8 inch end of the bell reducer. When assembled it fits over the bell reducer and a spring holds the baffle tight against the header but allows easy adjustment of the air flow.

The pipe fittings are assembled to form the jet,

During assembly the nipple at the end of the pipe fits through the center hole in the header. The baffle is placed on the nipple, then the spring. The bell reducer is screwed onto the nipple and tightened thereby securing the jet in the burner. I used yellow Teflon tape to seal the joints.
